How to Convert Videos to iPhone Format Using Facebook Video Downloader

How to download your favorite Facebook video straight to YouTube without any extra software? It is super easy using just a couple of simple clicks: Copy the Facebook video URL (to FB app or main page click on “Movie” and then” clipboard” to open in a new window) Paste it into the box above, select quality and finally click” downloaded!” You will see the URL on your c profile or main page. That’s all! How easy!
Facebook Video Downloader

To do this on mobile devices, you need to use a Facebook Video Downloader application. There are many versions of this available, but the free one we are going to look at is called: FastShare. It is a very popular Facebook downloader application that allows you to download videos directly to your Facebook device. The great thing about this application is that it also enables you to do this with all your other mobile devices like Android, Blackberry, and others.

To start, download the Facebook Video Downloader application, launch it and then follow the instructions to connect your Facebook account. Just follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process. After the application has successfully completed the transfer, it will save the link on your desktop or laptop computer. The next step is to connect the device you want to use to watch the video. Click the “Watch” link to begin downloading.

For step 3, you would use either your Instagram or Facebook account. After you have logged in to your account, click on the “Create Account” link at the top of the page. Now choose the “Movie” option, which displays a choice of two movies. Once you have chosen an option, click “Post” to publish the video to your page. An orange progress bar will appear to let you know that the video is being downloaded.

It is important that you open the Facebook Video Downloader Tool using the proper file types. Some video files may not be supported by the Facebook Video Downloader Tool. In order to make sure that you are downloading videos correctly, use the Windows Movie Maker program. If you have difficulties downloading videos, then you can try out the different sites that offer Facebook video downloaders.

Some of these sites include Facebook Live, Vimeo, YouTube, and Flixster. With each service, you are prompted with a short installation process. You may have to agree to their terms and conditions before you can use their services. Once you have installed the appropriate Facebook Video Downloader Tool, you will be ready to start downloading the videos usually saved on your desktop. The service normally offers the ability to download to desktop, mobile devices, or a website.

After installation, you will need to provide the Facebook Video Downloader Tool users with the right-click link for the file. Once the link has been clicked, a window will open up displaying the different options available. Select the option that allows users to download the video to the desktop. Other than that, everything is set to go.

It is possible to convert videos using this Facebook Video Downloader Tool. Users just need to connect their Facebook account to the software and follow the instructions offered. The application will then ask for the page source. It is advisable that you do not use a blank page source. A page source is a unique URL that uniquely identifies your page on Facebook. If you want to change the look of your page, you can also do so by changing the value of the “resource” option.

Review of the Motorola Edge and Edge Plus

Review of the Motorola Edge and Edge Plus
Review of the Motorola Edge and Edge Plus

Motorola as a company returned to the tech scene with good news ever since they decided to lay off the making of flagship phones about three years ago. This decision saw them focusing instead on making the budget and mid-range phones until the recent announcement of the upcoming Motorola Edge and Edge Plus.

The main question here though is: Will the new Motorola Edge series be able to compete with the already available top market devices? The likes of iPhone 11 and 12, not forgetting the Samsung Galaxy series? Can Motorola beat most of these popular brands in terms of what they can offer to consumers? Let’s find out.

Performance

The ordinary Motorola Edge and the high-end Edge Plus give almost everything a 5G phone would give to its users. While the Motorola edge comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset it certainly has a promising performance. The Edge plus of course goes overboard with the Snap Dragon865 chipset instead. A reason as to why it’s more expensive compared to its sibling. More to the Motorola edge is the fact that it has a micro SD slot while it’s not available in the Edge Plus version.

The fact that both phones run on Android 10 has left users wondering whether there will be an update to Android 12 software. Google, Apple, and Samsung brands normally allow updates after three years so we may or may not see this happening.

How to Unlock bootloader on Motorola Phones via Kingoroot you can click here for more information about mobile and unlock the bootloader.

Build

The Edge and Edge Plus take on similar designs to the popular Samsung Galaxy phones but with an added touch and feel of Motorola to them. Theirs is a much sleeker industrial design compared to the nail polished glossy look of the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus. In terms of size, Motorola stuck to a more bulky build. The phones themselves are not dust and water-resistant. The Motorola edge plus and edge both have screen displays of 6.7” FHD + OLED “Endless Edge,” 90 Hz rate which is much better than the 60 Hz refresh rate we were used to.  This new makes them look long and narrow but still really comfortable to hold.

With dimensions like 6.34”x 2.81”x0.37,” the Motorola Edge Plus is slightly taller compared to its sister, the edge which stands at 6.36”x2.79” xo.36”

Upon purchasing any of these smartphones expect the fonts to look much sharper and more defined giving you a seamless and smooth scrolling experience. Although the 90Hz refresh rate doesn’t make it the smartphone of the year with the highest processing rate, you’ll still have a great experience.

More to this is that the twin series have amazing speakers. Their solid base is certainly something to talk about. Phone users that prefer listening to music, watching videos, and playing mobile games on their phones will appreciate the sound feature. The speakers are loud enough to give that much sought-after base.  Also attached to the phone is a headphone jack.

The Motorola edge and edge both have a fingerprint scanner. This isn’t a new function for Motorola because their Moto Z4 had one. The only issue is that it didn’t work properly and sometimes took so long to scan one’s finger. The comeback on the Edge and Edge plus series will solve those problems as their fingerprint sensor is located on the front display. It’s able to scan enabling a user to log into their phone much faster.

Camera

The edge plus has a triple camera set up at the back and a selfie camera at the front. The primary camera has a 108-megapixel sensor that joins four other pixels into one. This process is called pixel binding. The binding of pixels together adds up to 27-megapixel photos which are brighter with less image noise. You can use this feature in surroundings that have medium or low lighting.

The 8mega pixel telephoto camera helps with optical image stabilization. You can “zoom in” photos without experiencing camera shake. The third rear camera has a 16megapixel sensor attached to an ultra-wide macro lens. The macro lens allows one to focus on photos and videos while they are at a distance away from the subject.

Portrait mode also works well on the front and back camera. The flight sensor collects deeper information and turns photos into gorgeous photos while still maintaining their naturalness.

Their cameras aren’t as perfect as those of say iPhone 11 or 11pro max. For example, Motorola has a Night Vision feature which makes photos taken to appear a bit sharper and brighter.

Motorola’s new cameras on the edge and edge plus are promising, however, they have to do much more than this if they’re going to beat competitors like Samsung and the iPhone.

Battery

The Edge has a 4,500mAh battery with 18 wired charging support which is rather ordinary. The money however is on Motorola Edge Plus’s 5,000mAh battery. Motorola claims this battery lasts for longer periods. A few tests have confirmed this claim to be true, because when fully charged it can last for at least close to three days. The battery also has a 15W turbocharging system and also supports wireless charging.

Storage

Edge comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and a slot for a micro SD. Edge Plus a 256 GB storage space.

Price

The Motorola Edge plus is priced at $999. It seems like a lot of money but if it to be compared with its look-alike the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra priced at $200, you can see that you’re paying less and still having access to some of the best features. The price for the Motorola edge isn’t known yet but we expect it to be lower than $999.

Release dates.

Motorola announced the phones will be available for purchase by May 14th, 2020.

Conclusion

As the launch dates draw closer, we certainly can’t wait to get our hands on these new Motorola phones because they look very promising. The question about whether they’ll manage to get shopper’s attention like Samsung and iPhone have been able to, we just have to wait and see. However, we are sure they’ll deliver an amazing experience.

The Almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1

The Almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1
The Almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1

With the minimalist style that has been all the rage for a while now, your EDC (Every Day Carry) should consist of two things: the best money clip you can find on the market (because a true gent should always carry cash, at least for tipping) and a good phone. And if you are a type of person who does not like to conform to all the (pricey) trends in the mobile phone industry, then keep on reading, as here we will introduce a new big player on the market – the almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1. This “Master of Speed” from the Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi Pocophoone F1 is a premium mid-range product that is quite assertively taking over the world. Incredible specs and lower prices? Well, this is most appealing!

The Almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1

The Almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1
The Almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1

When it comes to design, the Pocophone F1 has a polycarbonate body, which means that it has a better chance of surviving multiple drops on the ground unlike all those (very) costly glass phones. We most certainly appreciate resilience over a fancy finish. You can enjoy this polycarbonate model that is available in three colorways: Graphite Black, Steel Blue, and (our favorite) Rosso Red.

However, if you want to pay some extra money to be a bit more stylish then you have the option of getting a so-called “Armored Edition” model. This model comes only in black and has a first-class, real woven Kevlar fabric on the back. This one will not stop a bullet, but it looks quite amazing and has an awesome in-hand feel and grip. Note that all models are made with a thin aluminum frame. Power and volume buttons, which are also incredibly responsive, have a right side position, while the round fingerprint sensor that is placed on the back is easily accessible with either hand as well. Just above that fingerprint sensor is a rear dual camera.

Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Features

The Pocophone F1 features an 18.7:9 Full-Screen Display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 FHD+ at 403 PPI – but with rounded corners like any other modern smartphone. This Great Phone supports the standard display and gesture-based features (for example, double-tap and raise-to-wake). This great phone also offers sunlight and night display, an adjustable reading mode, and a rich custom color temperature adjustment. An impressive display, brightness, and vividness of colors on such an affordable phone! It also sports a USB Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio port (a.k.a a standard headphone jack).

The moniker of the Pocophone F1 is ‘Master of Speed’ and it is not a joke! It runs on the Snapdragon 845, Qualcomm’s current flagship processor. This means you get a powerful and the most advanced AI engine. This AI Engine lets you enjoy an incredible performance providing you with lower power consumption. This is also a gaming worthy smartphone for any hardcore gamer. The engineers have thought of everything – even the ways to keep cool as well as fast!

Performance

With a liquid-cooling mechanism, LiquidCool Technology, regardless of how much you use the phone, you will have no problem keeping it up and running smoothly. No slow response time and no frozen frames, the Pocophone F1 keeps its cool and stays fast always. The almighty F1 has an incredible high-capacity 4000mAh battery (and supports Quick Charge 3.0) that keeps the phone going for 30 hours of calling or 146 hours of audio playback on a single charge. That battery provides enough power to let you use your high-performance phone long enough to make you tired!

The Almighty Xiaomi Pocophone F1

The Pocophone F1 has a hybrid SIM tray, which means it lets you use two side-by-side cards, or, although we believe that it has enough capacity, you can still expand internal storage options of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB with a microSD card. There is an option of dual apps support – for example, you can have two versions of Viber as each of them would be connected to each SIM card. You can also customize the look and feel of the phone via the theme store. The detailed process of rooting your Redmi Note 10 Pro, along with the other related aspects are discussed. Also provides details of how to root Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Camera

The 12-megapixel plus 5-megapixel AI dual camera has dual-pixel autofocus and can instantly autofocus even in dark environments. In the primary lens, the camera has a large 1.4μm pixel sensor. Also, the AI cameras have the option of intelligently distinguishing across 206 scenes. Thus automatically adjusting the exposure, saturation, and many other photo optimizations. This phone has a whopping 20MP high-res front camera coupled with 1.8μm large pixel (4-in-1 Super Pixel) technology.

Unlike other products from Xiaomi (which are also great by the way), things are taken to another level with their incredible sub-brand Pocophone F1, which has been built with the idea of gaining new markets and going global. The overall experience that the high-performance Pocophone F1 offers is just incredible. And, considering the performance-to-price ratio, we warmly recommend this product.

Kingston A400 SSD Review – Great Value For Money

When we talk about building a new PC or upgrading an old one, SSD is a vital element for System Snappiness and SSDs are so fast, that using a traditional Hard Drive seems to be like going back a couple of years. We have recently reviewed the Kingston UV400 SSD which was the higher end variant of Kingston’s 400 series consumer line SSDs that come in a 2.5″ form factor. Today we have an affordable version of that SSD called the Kingston A400. It has a comparatively lower price tag but, should be pretty close in terms of performance. So, let’s get into the Kingston A400 SSD Review for details. Oh, this time we have the 240 Gig variant of the A400.

Kingston A400 Specifications

Kingston A400 SSD Review
Kingston A400 SSD Review
Type2.5 inch SATA3
Capacities120GB, 240GB, 480GB & 960GB
Sequential ReadUp to 500 MBPS
Sequential WriteUp to 450 MBPS

Just like the UV400, we were again unable to find the 960 Gig variant on Amazon India but, the 120GB, 240GB & 480 GB variants are available. We have run our tests on the 240GB variant so, let’s move to the Performance section.

Kingston A400 SSD Review – Performance

As I’ve mentioned previously, the Kingston A400 comes in a 2.5-inch form factor. It’s SATA3 based & as it’s a 240GB variant this time, the comparison with the 250GB variant of the Samsung 850 EVO will make a lot more sense as SSD speeds increase with capacity & last time the 120 Gig variant of the UV400 was smaller in capacity & hence it was slower than it’s 240 Gig variant as well. This comparison of the 240 Gig unit of the A400 with the 250 Gig variant of the 850 EVO shall be more reasonable.

Simplified Understanding

If you have gone through the UV400 Review, you know what this section is about. Basically, this is a simplified explanation to make it easier to understand the performance of the product (in this case the Kingston A400) pretty well. We’ve tested the performance of similarly powered Windows & Mac systems so, whatever Eco System you use, you can get an idea about how the SSD performs on your ecosystem.

So keeping the comparisons aside, for the Windows system the Kingston A400 pulls off 432.8 MBPS in Sequential Read & 313.7 MBPS in Sequential Write speeds on our CrystalDiskMark test. On the Mac side, we were able to get around 425.7 MBPS in Sequential Read & 438.8 MBPS in Sequential Write speeds on our AS SSD Benchmark test.

The Kingston A400 is a slightly lower-speed variant of the UV400. So, in theory, the 240GB variant of the UV400 shall have slightly faster speeds compared to the A400 that we’ have tested here. However unlike the UV400, in this case, the Mac system was only faster in the Sequential Write speeds. The Windows System won other sections clearly.

However, we didn’t face any issues when it came to system snappiness & actually the day to day performance felt almost identical to the Samsung 850 EVO which was quite expected as the difference can be felt in more demanding tasks.

Windows Installation Time or Steam Library Restore time was no issue as well. Though the speeds are not as fast as the more pricey Samsung 850 EVO, the A400 did finish the tasks within 10 to 15 seconds of the 850 EVO.

Our Final Verdict on Kingston A400 SSD Review

Kingston A400 SSD Review
Kingston A400 SSD Review

The Kingston A400 SATA3 SSD offers some really good performance for the money. Though the extra speeds of the UV400 can definitely benefit in some situations, the speeds on the A400 are really close to it’s elder sibling.

At the time we’re writing this review, the Kingston A400 costs about ₹3159 for the 120GB variant & ₹5598 for the 240GB variant,  the Kingston UV400 costs about ₹3399 for the 120GB variant & ₹5830 for the 240GB variant on Amazon India while the Samsung 850 Evo costs around ₹6783 for the 250GB variant. So again, if you don’t need that extra speed & you want to save your money instead, we have no problems recommending the Kingston A400 over the 850 Evo or even the UV400 which is its higher-end variant. In case that speed isn’t enough for your needs, then you can have a look at the 850 EVO or the 860 EVO or even NVMe options depending on your requirements.

Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained – Do You Really Need It in Your Laptop?

Whenever you need to hook an External GPU to your Laptop, the only option you have is a Thunderbolt 3 port. It can also be used for hooking 4K 60Hz Monitors to your device. But, not all the Laptops have that port & there are some laptops that have the port but, cannot take the full advantage of it. Though, there are also some laptops that are able to take the complete advantage of the port or ports to provide a close-to-maximum bandwidth. So, the question comes forward, “Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained – Do you really need it in your Laptop ?”. Well, keep on reading…

Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained - Main Cable
Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained – Main Cable

Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained – Do You Really Need It in Your Laptop?

We are talking about the usability. So, let’s talk about the supported protocols now.  Thunderbolt 3 had introduced for the first time, Thunderbolt via. USB Type-C port. With the USB Type-C Port, the Thunderbolt 3 connection supports a total of three protocols. The list includes USB 3.1 Protocol, PCIe Express Protocol, Displayport Protocol & of-course the Thunderbolt Protocol.

So, basically what it means is that the Thunderbolt 3 port can function as a regular USB 3.1 Port & a Displayport but, it’s now possible with a USB Type-C connector instead of a regular Displayport that the older Thunderbolt 1 & Thunderbolt 2 connections used to work on. Also, Thunderbolt 3 connection is a lot faster compared to its predecessors. Let’s compare the Bandwidth generation by generation with the chart below.

Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained - Bandwidth-Comparison
Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained – Bandwidth-Comparison

So, as you can see in the chart, Thunderbolt bandwidth has been bumped up to double with every generation. With Thunderbolt 1 with we had 10 Gigabits Per Second speeds while Thunderbolt 2 supported up to 20 Gigabits & Thunderbolt 3 now supports up to 40 Gigabits of bandwidth. So, that’s a huge bump up & this brought the possibilities of connecting Two external 4K Monitors & even an External GPU. So, if you want to connect Two external 4K Monitors to your laptop for purposes like content creation you may want to consider dedicated Thunderbolt 3 ports (there can be Maximum 2 of them). But, remember you can also connect a single 4K 60Hz Monitor via. an HDMI 2.0 port.

Thunderbolt 3 Connections

Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained - Connections
Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained – Connections

Now, Thunderbolt 3 has another big function & that is allowing external desktop GPUs to connect to a Laptop. I feel this is a reason many people who want to use Ultrabooks and play multiplayer games,  look for Thunderbolt 3 port when they buy their laptops. If that’s your goal, you can definitely take advantage of the Thunderbolt 3 port. But, there are a few things to keep in mind.

To maintain their thinness, Ultrabooks generally use Processors with around 15W TDP that are not ideal for long-term gaming sessions. Also, some Laptops use only 2 lanes of PCIe instead of 4 on the Thunderbolt 3 Port. So, you’re not getting the Max bandwidth of 40 Gbps through that Thunderbolt 3 Port instead you’re getting (estimated) less than 20 Gbps. So, that puts the performance of the External GPU into a deep bottleneck.

Even, if your Laptop uses all 4-lanes of PCIe, you don’t get the complete bandwidth of 40 Gbps as some of the bandwidth gets occupied by other peripherals. So, even when you’re losing 10-15% of the performance of your External GPU. So, if you plan to game on your laptop with the full power of something like a GTX 1080 Ti, it’s just not gonna perform like it would on a dedicated desktop setup. This also applies even if you buy a Gaming Laptop with a lower end GPU & plan to game on an external desktop one.

Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained - Thunderbolt-3-DYN
Thunderbolt 3 Usability Explained – Thunderbolt-3-DYN

Advanced functionalities are always a plus. So, if you can get Thunderbolt 3 support on your Laptop then that’s great. But, make sure you’re not making compromises on your actual needs.

Thunderbolt 3 for Gaming Laptops

If Gaming is your main goal then I would not pick an Ultrabook with a Thunderbolt 3 connection for that. 15W i5 or i7 Ultrabooks don’t come cheap & the TDP is not ideal for gaming. So, the extra money that you’ll through at it & an External GPU with Enclosure, isn’t going to give you the performance you want. Even if you’re doing that in a Gaming laptop with a less powerful GPU, remember that you have to deal with the performance reduction. If you’re ok with that, then no problem.

But, for stuff like Content Creation where you might have a good CPU. But, you need 4K Monitors to hook or a more powerful GPU for completing your tasks. This will cost you a lot less compared to a new Laptop. The Thunderbolt 3 support can be a life saver.

Intel has announced that Thunderbolt 3 support will become royalty free from 2018. So, some Laptops that are using Intel’s 7th Gen Kabylake Processors that use the Thunderbolt 3 as one of their main USPs & also has a high price tag right now, will cut their prices a bit. So, you may think that it’s better to go for those laptops instead of getting the new & comparatively more expensive 8th Gen CPUs just because of the Thunderbolt 3 support. But, the performance difference between, Intel’s 7th and 8th gen CPUs are way too much to ignore. So, don’t buy the 7th Gen CPUs just for the Thunderbolt 3 port as you won’t be able to justify. But, if you can use Thunderbolt 3 & justify all your needs, you definitely need it in your Laptop.

Audio Technica ATH-C101 Review

When it comes to entry level earphones, the market is abuzz with hundreds of products. Almost all audiophile brands have one or more watered down versions of their high-end products released to cash in on their brand name. But as a consumer who’s on the lookout for a good deal. Should you really fall for the gimmickry or go with what seems the logical choice?

Audio Technica ATH-C101 Review – First Impressions

We here at GeekSnipper have tried to answer this question one at a time, by reviewing for you the Audio-Technica ATH-C101 Cube Earphones. The Cube is the cheapest pair of Audio-Techinica earphones available, and the cost cutting is quite apparent as soon as you get the package in your hand. No ear-buds, no converter, no pouch, no string winder or any other accessories.

Audio Technica ATH-C101 Design & Features

What you do get out of the box is the Audio Technica ATH-C101 Cube Earphones itself. A pretty decent pair of earphones that are designed to appeal more to the fashion conscious than to the audiophile. Incorporating a unique CUBE design on the end of the earbud. This feature makes the earbud easier to adjust and also makes it stiffer and more durable. During testing, we found that the earphones are quite light on the ears and don’t feel uncomfortable even after hours of usage.

Audio Technica ATH-C101 Design and Features
Audio Technica ATH-C101 Design and Features

The L shaped, gold plated connector is another great feature to have on an entry-level earphone. Ensures that it’ll last you a good number of years. The cable is thick and feels durable. Although it tangles a lot. Recommended ideally for commutes and casual listening, the Audio-Technica ATH C101 Cube Earphones feature a 15.8mm diameter outer housing but a standard 13.5mm diameter driver. Hence there’s no compromise on audio quality or loudness.

Audio Technica ATH-C101 Sound

Audio Technica ATH-C101 Sound
Audio Technica ATH-C101 Sound

Now as the name suggests Audio-Technica delivers where it matters the most, audio quality. Best described as standard. The response was flat over various types of music, with no distortion or unnatural loudness. The clarity of sound shone through which is a major plus point of this unit, every instrument and note was audible and clear. What was lacking, of course, was bass, Even after boosting bass response using DSP manager software, the result was lackluster. However, this was on expected lines.

The verdict on Audio Technica ATH-C101

The Audio Technica ATH-C101 can be considered a serious contender when it comes to the entry level earphones market. Ticking all the check boxes when it comes to durability, design, personalization options and sound quality. But as mentioned earlier, the lack of bass and lack of accessories may be a turn off for some especially when we consider the hefty price tag of Rs 699 (albeit you can find a better deal online).

  3. Aux (3.5 mm jack)

This wireless speaker can run for 4-5 hours. When the battery get’s low you will realize it by its decrease in the volume. The only thing that I didn’t like was, the material quality it is built with. The material used to build this speaker is quite cheap. But, on the context of the price range it’s affordable and worth buying.

Sound: (7.5/10)

Talking about speakers, Sound is what people are looking for. This Bluetooth Wireless Speaker is good in sound. When you increase the volume full up, you start getting a disturbing sound and it is because of the Chinese quality speaker in it.

The speaker installed is of a cheap quality, but it really gives you a good output. One of the glitches that cannot be ignored is the speaker being with high treble. But, looking at the overall quality, material, sound and price, I would personally say yes to this.
